Scrolling in register

This has been annoying me forever and I was wondering if anyone else has the problem or knows a fix.

I cannot use the mouse's wheel to scroll in Quicken's registers! I can scroll in onscreen reports (admittedly not particularly smoothly) but there is absolutely no response in the register and it bugs the hell out of me. I am using the Australian Q2002 Personal Plus and a Microsoft Cordless Intellipoint on an XP machine.

Please let me know if I am alone with this minor but extraordinarily annoying dysfunction.

Agreed.

And the fact they don't use basic Windows edit shortcuts eg Ctl-C for copy etc.

Works fine for me in QW05 - recall it has something to do with mouse software setup. Try a search of this forum for answers.

Scrolling in the register works fine for me with Q2005D here in the states - and as far as the Windows shortcut is concerned, perhaps the Aussie version is different, but in the editing of Quicken preferences (Setup), there *is* an option to change from the Quicken default to Windows standard. Obviously, I can't check to see if that is on your version, but I do recall it is *not* the default, and maybe you should see if you can change it on your version if that option is indeed there?

You can opt for the standard Windows shortcuts in the preferences.

See "Edit"; "Options"; "Quicken Program". Hope this is some help.

Still can't fix the scrolling issue.

Cheers

Jack.

In Q2005, I've got:

Edit | Preferences | Quicken Program | Setup | Keyboard mappings |

Use Ctrl-Z/X/C/V for: Windows standard (Undo/Cut/Copy/Paste)

I don't think it was implemented in Q2002. It was fixed somewhere between that and 2005. I just upgraded from 2002, and register wheel scrolling just started working.

Thanks guys - found it. Using Q Cash Book 2004.

Now, any clues on making right click edit options for cut/copy etc work?
