Old bug still in Quicken

Hi,

I just got bit by this bug again which I reported earlier - if you copy a transaction such as a paycheck as a template and paste it without saving, then make changes, then save it, the original transaction that was copied disappears. In order to work around, one must save it immediately after pasting before making any changes. This is insidious because in my case, I didn't know the transaction disappeared until I tried to reconcile my account and the starting balance was off by the amount of the transaction. I had to restore the Quicken data file to a time where I knew it was good and could see how the transaction had disappeared. In trying to put it back, I did a copy and paste, surprise - I wiped out the original again. It would be real good if Quicken would address this problem. I'm running Quicken Premier 2012 with the latest update (R7).

John
