Printer problem

When I attempt to change printers for reports the following window opens "An error has occurred. Please restart Quicken." Cannot print out reports??? Quicken 2002.

Thanks,

I would first try updating the driver from the manufacturer's web site. If it is the most recent, I'd delete the printer and re-create it. I'd avoid using the driver already on the hard drive....

I can not access the change the area to change the report printer. Prnter Setup---For Reports, etc. then error occurs. I do not think it is any one printer. I can access For Printing checks OK and change any printer without an error message.

It sounds like one of your executable files has gotten corrupted.

You might try uninstalling and reinstalling Q. BUT, before you do that, arrange w/ Intuit to get the updates that were released to your version.

OR, update to a more recent version of Q. Some can be found for a quite reasonable price on EBay.

I seem to remember that with some older versions of Quicken - possibly even more recent than 2002 - what you needed to do was:

change the Windows default printer

It may be necessary to close Quicken first, then change the default printer, and then reopen Quicken
