Problem 1: I recently set up an Investment account in Q2005 and downloaded all transactions from the appropriate financial institution.
As I use a debit card extensively with this account, I assumed that my Holdings would appear in one register - they do; no complaints here - and that my debit card transactions would appear in a separate register. As to the latter - but here's the problem - the Transactions list in this investment account is not as flexible as the say, the Register of downloaded transactions in a separate downloaded checking account.
I generate a lot of reports and the Investment transactions window does not lend itself to this valuable process.
What have I done wrong? How can I correct it?
Problem 2: In that Checking account, the downloaded transaction places the Payee in the Category field and vice versa and I have to manually correct. Que pasa?
