Q2007 r5 update broke Attachments

Is any one else having problems with the attachments feature in Quicken

2007 since updating to release 5? I'm not sure if this is a Vista issue or Quicken issue. (I'm new to Vista). It worked fine prior to the update, albeit I'd only used the feature a couple times prior to updating it on my new Vista Home Premium machine. It will not allow me to put more than 1 attachment any more. Very annoying since many transactions do have a need more than one.

TIA

I get the same thing. I contacted Quicken they denied there was a problem. There is a workaround, if you import the image into a Word Document you can attach multiple attachments. For some reason it will only accept one graphic file type. You will also notice that NONE of the viewing or encryption options work either.

Yes Mark you are right. I noticed that after I posted (the viewing options, etc). I'll try the Word Document work-around. Is it that it limits us to one file type (graphic, document, pdf, etc) or just one graphic and maybe a couple .doc files ??

You can add as many Excel Spreadsheets, MS Word Documents, PDF files or any combination you want, but it chokes on graphic files.

I purch & installed Q08 Deluxe today, in hopes it resolved this problem with Attachments. It seems the issue is *still* there. Has anyone figured out why? or how to fix it? I guess I'm wondering if, maybe, I did something that caused this. Such as ticking/unticking a radiobutton or something that I've forgotten. It is sooooo annoying having to always scan the document, paste it into Word 07 and then attach it. As far as I can tell that's all that can be done if you need to install more than 1 graphic.

Thanks for the update. I was tempted to buy 2008 to see if it fixed the attachment problem. I remember when I first called them they denied it was even a problem and said that was the way it was SUPPOSED to work. Sheesh! But the program is still great in all other respects I hope they get it together in one of the revision to 2008.
