Dell has Quicken Deluxe 2013 (download version) for only $40.99. The CD version is $46.99.
I never thought of looking at Dell for software - and my last 4 PCs have been Dells.

I finally got the 80 MB Quicken install file downloaded and burned to CD. I installed Q13, and it appeared to convert my Q12 file without a problem. I haven't found out anything that is really new in Q13 as compared to Q12. I'll do more testing later.

Ì checked this, and indeed, the price is good ($41). BUTTTTT ... It takes a while after paying before you get a link to where to get a download manager for Dell downloads. So don't expect to be in business all that fast. Moreover, the link to get the download manager has security features (username and password) that are flaky, at least for me. Repeatedly it gave incorrect username and password, and when I finally got an email with usable info, I got an error message that the system couldn't be used. Tirned out that sometimes Firefox doesn't work, sometimes IE doesn't work, you need to try another browser, make sure you have the right dot.net addins, etc.I finally got the 80 MB Quicken install file downloaded and burned to CD. For the trouble I had with the download, that is NOT a good price anymore. Perhaps my whining made them realize they had to charge more to pay for the support their faulty system requires ...
