Quicken 2002 has stopped data input

I use Quicken 2002, and I have been really pleased with it, especially because I am able to download transactions from my electronic bank statement directly into it.

Yesterday, Quicken decided that, although it would download the information from my bank, it would no longer attempt to compare it with my account in Quicken.

I have tried re-installing it, but all that has done has changed the date format from British to American (which I also cannot change back).

Can anyone offer advice on either of these two problems?

Thanking you very much, in advance.

Regards

Richard

Since you download direct try GNUCASH. It can use either the QIF or QFX formats from my credit union.
