Quicken 2004 Premier Home & Business, Release R 3 wrong time stamps

I've been using Quicken for decades and am keeping Quicken 2004 Premier Hom e & Business, Release R3 due to compatibility with several other computers. I have moved Quicken data files from C:\quicken to D:\quicken drive. Recen tly, I discovered that after opening then closing Quicken, the time stamps for files .QDF, .QEL and .QSD are wrong when they reside on D:\quicken ins tead of C:\quicken drive. However, time stamp for file .IDX is correct. Whe n I copy these files from their D: drive location to a different external h ard drive the time stamp changed to be the correct time stamp. I am using W indows 10 with most recent update. Has anyone else experienced the same? Th anks.

How did you do that move? The proper way is to have opened Q on the C driv e and do a "Save As" to your D drive.

BUT, unless that D drive is a partition on the only hard drive in your comp uter ... you're "cruisin for a bruisin". Q REALLY doesn't like for it's da ta files to be anywhere but on the local hard drive.

No problem with Quicken on an SD card so can run on both a desktop at home and a laptop while traveling.
