Too bad I do not have intellepoint so I could roll back to version 5.0 and fix this problem.
I don't mind the fact that they have not fixed this problem as yet but, they could acknowledge that they do have the problem and, they are in the process of trying to find a solution.
From the Quicken Forum this is just one of many problems that they have at this time and maybe the least of their worries.
Now before you nice people shoot me please go to the Quicken Forum and read of the problems they have.

I'm using XP Pro SP2 on a ThinkPad G41, nVidia GoForce graphics, with no flickering problems in Q2008... just another data point.

Ok thanks....was wondering because some "folks" were refering to version
5.2. I had the flickering problem when I used 6.2?? and solved my problem by going to Task manager/processes and stopping it for a test. Quicken behaved normal then. I in turn removed the SW and used my MS wireless as a normal mouse with minimal loss of function.

That might work also. I don't know which version(s) MSFT has archived on their site but a search should turn them up.
If you don't need the extra functions, just use whatever mouse driver is included with your OS. I want the middle button double click function so I stick with Intellepoint.

But, as I have posted here several times, I am forced to repeatedly find new newsgroup servers because my isp deletes newsgroup posts after 24 hours. 4,) My newsgroup reader does not always (ever?) carry my message rules over to new newsgroup servers. Therefore, your trash happens to appear on one of the newsgroup servers I now use. 5.) I had forgotten how ignorant you were, so I did not remember to exclude you from each new newsgroup server I have used. 6.) You need to take a class in reading for comprehension.
And, as we learned before, you also need a class in the use of the English language. I do not lie, and there are no lies involved in the non-issue you are babbling about here: either you do not know what a lie is, or you are intentionally misusing the word.
I "filtered you out" back when I said I would; none of your posts showed up in any newsgroup server I was using at the time.
But my subsequent adding of new newsgroup servers caused your posts to become visible in the newer news servers. And since I do not commit my newsgroup message rules to memory, and since I did not remember your moniker, it was not apparent that your posts had once been eliminated but were now reappearing.
