Quicken 2011 - Account Overview and Account Value tabs

I recently upgraded from Quicken Deluxe 2010 to QD2011. I don't see any real improvements for the way I use Quicken. For the most part it appears that this version offers only cosmetic changes. I have two things that I really don't like about it.

The first is that my customized home page, "My View" will no longer display the way I had it set up in Q2010 and many prior versions. The net worth chart now insists on being full window width. With the prior versions, it could display at half width, with the "YTD income" and "alerts" beneath the chart, and the "watch list" fit in on the left, next to all of those. I've tried rearranging them, and resizing the window, but it will not go back to my preferred arrangement. Not what I want, but I can live with that. I just have to scroll down now to see information that was readily available before.

The second difference I really don't like. That is the investment account view. In the previous version, I could choose "transactions", "overview", or "value" as the default display for the account. When I reopened an account, it showed the selection I had previously used. For the most part, I prefer the "overview", in order to see the security performance. In my investment accounts, I have occasional transactions, but not often enough that I need to see that view all the time. Q2011 does not appear have these choices, instead, it always displays the transaction list, and has a pop-up window for the security overview. The account performance chart does not seem to exist at all.

Is there any way to get the investment accounts to display like they did in Q2010? Of course, I could go back to the previous version, but that doesn't seem like a good alternative.

Thanks.

I'm still running Q2009 - works fine - and will upgrade when forced to via the Sunset cycle.

I download stock quotes, look at the Investing -> Today's Data, pick an account & sort by today's % to see the winners/losers.. done. When they make that more complex - they have failed -

It seems with every "improvement" or version, Intuit is not really in-to-it -

I lost hope when the old "hi/low" indicators were broken, along with the migration away from Yahoo Finance NEWS and creating their own useless "Investing" website.

SO - it seems they have a very narrow view from the project manager & programmer analyst driving the bus -

Well, I've found a decent alternative for the investment account overview. Using the "Investment" tab, and selecting "value" view, then subtotal by account shows almost the exact same as the older account overview. I just need to scroll down to the account I am interested in. This also allowed me to add the dividend yield for each security to the display.
