Quicken Home Inventory

Nov 06, 2010 2 Replies

I just switched from Quicken 2009 to 2011, only to discover that the Quicken Home Inventory is gone. It's now a separate standalone product.

This is pretty much the last straw; Intuit's money-grubbing has gotten completely out of hand. I'm "upgrading" back to 2009, until I can find something else. If push comes to shove, I'll start using spreadsheets.

Quicken Home Inventory isn't gone, it's still there. It's just probably needs to be installed which should only take a few seconds. Please, read and follow the directions outlined at the bottom of the following thread from Quicken Community:

You're indeed correct. Many thanks for the link. Home Inventory is now installed & working fine.

And, you're right... I was extremely worried. I live an an area that's prone to hurricanes. I've had to learn the hard way that it's imperative to maintain an adequate inventory listing... for obvious reasons.

However, I'm still a little miffed at Intuit... but, that's another question/problem. Mainly, how much longer will they keep QHI a part of Quicken Home & Business?

Again, thanks for your help!
