Quicken Premier/Delux

My 2009 Premier is sunsetting....

I'm wondering if I really need Premier, or if Deluxe is sufficient for me.

All I want is to DirectConnect/ExpressWebConnect/WebConnect bank accounts, 401K/IRA accounts, etc. I don't really utilize it for anything more than a glorified checkbook. Sure, I look at the amounts in 401K/IRA for desired diversification, but nothing more.

Normally, I'd buy Q2011, off Ebay, but Quicken 2011 *Premier* is ~$40+. I seem to recall these older verions being MUCH cheaper? Maybe the demand is high now since a lot of people are being sunsetted? Maybe I upgraded to Premier last time because it was a really great deal?

Any comments? What will I miss if I dowgrade from Premier to Deluxe? I se a Q2011 Deluxe for $14, with shipping! ;-D

I purchased the Premier version several years, and then I finally decided to save a few bucks and buy the Deluxe version when I upgraded to 2012. I was not disappointed. All that's missing (that I noticed) is the limited stock and fund research that I never found all that useful to begin with.

I have just used the DLX for years - all for my Investments.

Since Intuit took the path of splitting away from Yahoo Finance for any "info" and creating their own walled garden - of useless info - I have not used any of their website "news" or "portfolio" tools for anything... and still use Yahoo Finance for info, charts, news, etc along with others like Fool, Smartmoney, and Morningstar...
