I bought MS Money a year ago, and was thoroughly disgusted with it for numerous reasons. I'd upgraded from an old version of Money which worked very well, was simple to use and figure out, and kept track of my business expenses and income for 19 years.
So being completely turned off to MS, I bought Quicken a couple weeks ago, and amazingly, I think it's worse than Money.
Here is my current problem: I have an "Unpaid Invoices" account, and a "Paid Invoices" account. When I attempt to enter a customer payment, I'm supposed to select "Deposit to" from a drop down box, BUT IT IS BLANK, and I cannot type anything into it. How dumb is this? No matter what I do, I cannot enter any payments because it won't let me go any farther. It keeps saying "This field cannot be left blank."
This whole program is way more complicated than I need. Does ANYONE still make just a simple program that will track income and expenses without all the frills, reminders, and other annoying, unwanted things?
