I am having a very frustrating problem with Q2005 data accuracy.
I enter a transaction say in my Bank account and the total want change in the Summary. I have tried recopying the data file which did not help. I tried to change an Investment account share price and once again it did not show up in the Summary.
Anyone else having this problem and has a fix?
This is definitely unusual. I'm using Q2005 and don't have any problem with data entered immediately showing up in Quicken's various summaries.
My first thought is that there's a date mismatch. Are you entering a post-dated check? Future transactions won't show up in summaries until they become current. Or, are you asking for a previous date in the summary?
If neither of these suggestions help, let us know specifically what you mean by the 'Summary', so we can pinpoint your problem.
