Q2005 Install Problem

A couple of years ago when I upgraded from Q2003 to Q2005 I had some problems. For some reason the installer could not remove my old copy of Q2003. After many failed attempts to Upgrade I renamed the Quickenw directory to Xquickenw and was then able to do a new install. A few weeks or months later I deleted the Xquicken directory with no ill effects to my system or to Q2005.

Here's the problem and the question - In Windows XP Control Panel - Add Remove Programs I have a listing for both Q2003 and Q2005, neither of which allows Can be deleted. Is there any way to get rid of the Q2003 listing? I've looked a Windows XP Power Toys but there's no way to delete this Control Panel Entries. I intend to update to Q2007 in a few months and I don't want to have Q2003, Q2005, and Q2007 in my Add Remove Programs listing.

I think Q2007 will uninstall any previous Quicken versions it finds. And I think you will get the relatively new Quicken uninstall utility on your Q2007 CD. But if you want to try the uninstall utility now, go here:
