Quicken XG: cannot un-install

I want to remove Quicken XG from my laptop but there is no entry for the application in 'Add/Remove Programs' in Control Panel. There is no 'uninstall' option in 'Programs'. There is no obvious un-install exe file in the Quicken directory.



This status applies to all users, irrespective of administrative privileges.



How should I delete the application?

may not be your exact situation (since it doesn't sound like you'retrying to install another version) but I'm guessing it would probablywork.

Thanks for the tip. Sadly the linked page starts with the instruction to use 'Add/Remove Programs' . This does not apply in my case as there is no entry there for Quicken or Intuit or anything that could be related to the application.

My only experience is with the US version of Quicken, and the US version of the (new) Quicken uninstall utility. But if the Canadian version of the Quicken uninstall utility works like the US version, it will uninstall Quicken even if you have not used the Windows uninstall procedure.
