Quicken2013, opening files in Win 8

Sep 29, 2013 1 Replies

I'm about ready to throw my computer thru the wall. I've "successfully" loaded Quicken 2013 in WIn 8 under Administrator. It's version R12 (22.1.12.7). I've BOTH moved my quicken file from my main computer as well as Backed-up and moved my quicken file from my main computer.

I've tried to open the file on my Win 8 laptop and it asks me for the password for the file, I give it the password, then Quicken goes into default mode as if I'm setting up a new file for the first time.

I'm at my wits end. Any ideas?

What happens when you click File > Open Quicken File, then browse to your Quicken data file and click OK?
