Reconcile two years of investment transactions

Quciken H&B 2006, upgraded from 2002, and a couple of investment accounts in Quicken are not balancing with eTrade. I thought I'd try deleting the investment accts and letting quicken import all from scratch but it seems that it will leave off most of the historical trx that way. I want the detail to be there.

Is there any way to get Quicken to pull the complete history from eTrade? If not, is there some alternate route, like download all etrade data in Excel format, then import into Quicken? I can try to reconcile by hand but was hoping to shortcut the process. TIA

Your BEST bet, is to go back through your eTrade monthly reports (month by month) until you find the error.

Quicken can't pull unless eTrade will send. Ask eTrade your questions about historical activity.

Thanks Dan. eTrade is pretty hard to get ahold of, I was hoing someone here would know if it's possible.

I started to reconcile but the Quicken help says that Q can record things quite differently from eTrade, so I was trying to avoid a lot of head scratching.

Reason #1 why I don't use them.

I actually suspect, that eTrade is sending squirrely download info... 'cause I've NEVER had any such problem with Fidelity (for mutuals, equity or debt positions).

Sorry I can't be of more help ... but based upon what I've read here and in other forums ... I truly believe that the problem originates w/ eTrade.
