I purchase Quicken Delux 2005 on ebay and while trying to register it, I was asked to enter my city,address & zip code. The problem is that the area for indicating were you live only lists american states, how do I register for somewhere in Canada.?

It sounds to me like you purchased the US edition of Quicken. Take a look under Help>About Quicken to determine which edition you have.
If it's the US edition, you won't be able to do online banking, get currency updates or track Canadian mutual funds.
I checked my ver. and it says copyright U.S.A. ,so I gues I have a US. ver.

That's too bad. It's not much use up here. Your best bet is probably to resell it, and order the Canadian edition.
FWIW, the Mac edition of Quicken 2005 under Preferences ->
Customization -> allows the selection of Canada or USA
