My Quicken 2006 investment transactions register Description fields are blank too, like John Pollard's, and in the rare occasion where it is filled in, I cannot locate the source of the data or do I have the ability to change it. Considering the Description fields are mostly blank, I cannot understand why Intuit would make the Description entry area so big and the Security and Memo fields so small so that you have to hover over those fields to see what's there. The Investment Register should look like it used to look pre-Q2004. I would think that now that Intuit has put the register back into Quicken 2006, they should be able to display it anyway they want, which would include the way it used to look.
I am going to make this request to Intuit and would like to ask that everyone else who finds the Q2006 Investment Register display a problem to do so as well.
Thanks,

For all of my Income transactions, the information in the description column is incorrect. It shows the same (wrong) security for every transaction. There is no way to edit the description for an Income transaction. The width of the security column is too narrow to accurately determine the correct name of the security. I thought it might be a problem in the conversion, so I entered the scheduled investment transactions for the rest of this month and they were also incorrect, showing the same wrong name of the security in the description column. If I manually enter the income transaction, then the description column is blank, but I don't want to manually enter all of my income transactions. Besides, the security column is too narrow to tell me which security the income is for.
