I'm using Quicken H&B 2012 on Win 7.
I have two credit card accounts: One Visa and one Mastercard. They are named, respectively, Visa and MCard.
My bank recently discontinued the Master Card and replace it with a Visa. Nothing changed but the card. The first statement as a Visa just carried forward balances and purchases from the Master Card.
How should I handle this in my accounts?
On the one hand, I could do nothing and just let the account stay MCard. No one but me has access to it so it wouldn't cause any confusion. On the other hand, my obsessive-compulsive tendencies move me toward renaming both accounts, one as Visa Personal and the other as Visa Business.
If I rename accounts, what happens to scheduled transaction that are tied to the old names? What is the best thing to do in this situation?
