ROI Bogus on Securities Transferred Between Accounts?

Return on Investment calculations in the Investing Center seem to be messed up for securities that have been transferred between accounts. I'm not sure what all the parameters are. In one case, after a simple transfer, the ROI was computed using the price on the transfer date instead of the purchase price. In cases where there had been income or partial sales, the ROI was off but I couldn't figure out exactly how.

Is this a known problem? Is there a workaround?

Has it been fixed in Quicken versions after 2006?

Were you looking at a view sorted by account when you saw this bogus ROI?

Did you independently compute the ROI for the period that the security existed in the TO account? Was that the ROI Quicken displayed?
