Spit transaction missing matching transaction in other account

I'm using Quicken 2005 and if I post a split transaction in a chequing account, comprising a deposit of cash and a customer's cheque being deposited, the matching cash component doesn't show up in the Cash account, even after validating files.

Any suggestions?

Please (continue to) disreagard my post. I accidentally put the account name, [Cash], in the Memo field rather than in the Category field. Stupid!
