Transaction report with account balances

I'm using Quicken Delux 2006. I would like a complete transaction report for the year in an Asset account, including account balance after each transaction. IOW, I need the Register in printed form. If I use the report from the Register, or generate it from the main Reports menu, the balance is omitted from the printed report.

How do I get it to report the balances?

Rather than using Report / Register report, use File / Print Register.
