well.... changed the FI info, all seemed to work, and here we are on Monday night doing a download

Perhaps you can try again today (Tue)? I did an update this morning (Tue, 915 AM EDT)) and it worked fine. Indicated no transactions from any of my multiple Vanguard accounts were logged as of 8 PM (EDT?) on Monday night without any problems.
