I let someone use my computer to apply for an A+L loan. Before doing so we looked at a couple of sites to decide which was best. A+L advertised INSTANT online decision - much like you can do with credit cards online (I have done a couple)
So they did the application, only for A L to say they will e-mail in a few minutes or write a letter within 2 days.
Today they emailed (24hours later) and said to call them to get the decision! Almost at the same time they sent an email saying they would e-mail the decision within 24 hours (I get the feeling this one was meant to come last night).
So I guess the point of this is to say that A+L is not instant when they say it is instant! (they might make the decision instantly, but they don't tell you)
