averages

Does anyone know (or able to suggest a useful website) what the average costs per month are in the UK for electricity and gas for a family and for single people? tried a web search but just get links to change provider rather than statistics I'm looking for.

Depends on your electrical stuff. Why you asking? There might be an easier way to get to the info you need.

the cooker stays on the same amount of time to cook a meal for one as

  1. We might lead a light or two more on and have more than one pc runing. More washing and drying costs though and more hot water used.

You could look at the Kwh of all your stuff and work it out.
