Barclay Card ins / price promise

I get about 15 leaflets a week offering different credit cards with zip% interest for the first fried fish - whilst i can imagine this being important for some - i never borrow on my c/c - but i am interested in 'other services'

1/ Do Barclay card still offer price promise (refund diff if you find it cheaper)?

2/ Do Barclay card still insure goods bought with it? (Loss, theft, accidental damage, etc)?

3/ Is Barcaly Card only credit card that offer these sevices

Jethro Take the Barclaycard insurance of goods bought with a pinch of salt. They get some outside firm to examine the claim and they wriggle like mad to get out of paying! They want to see a copy of your full household insurance policy, they want the actual damaged/broken article, etc etc.

Not sure, check their site.

When I was looking into it they did say I would need to get proof from the shop and all sorts - not really worth it if the difference is 10 or something (even if the price you paid was 20 and its 10 elsewhere - i.e

50%)

Definitely not - they stopped this a year or more ago.

I'm pretty sure they stopped this at the same time. It was only for a short period (30 days?), other than the additional year's warranty insurance with Domestic & General (now stopped also).

Best Regards, Alex.
