One bank has been reported to have closed current accounts of customers who asked for unfair charges to be returned.
Seemed almost inevitable that banks would start doing this sooner or later.

We are talking people who have repeatedly gone overdrawn though.
You may be right but it doesnt seem to say that. It seems to say customers who have sued them for the charges to be returned. The oft and others are encouraging people to take action to get unfair charges returned and this seems as if this could cause some customers a problem. (the oft are saying that the charges are excessive and far more than it costs the banks.)
The banks will get thier pound of flesh one way or the other though. (except foe the bank manager who stole 21million! they wont get that back)
Apparently they have only found 10million of it.
I guess the rest was fees and charges :-)
