Hi, I know Capital One are easy to be accepted for, can anyone point me in the direction of others, preferably ones which will offer better starting credit limits for new customers.
thanks in advance, david

Egg seemed quite easy for me a couple of years back. I was only 21 and Capital One gave me a 400 limit with special extra high interest for being higher risk. I applied for egg and they accepted me for 5k no probs
Ha! Just wait till the economy goes into nose dive, people start losing their jobs, houses start getting repossessed and credit card accounts across the nation go into default. Egg, and all the other new players on the block who have all been so keen to gain market share by giving their cards out to anyone who can scrawl a signature on the bottom of the credit agreement will realise that their generosity will come back and bite them in a big way. End result? Their other current highly competative products (savings, mortgages, etc) become increasingly less attractive, they run up huge losses as they make provisons for bad debts, they may merge with another competitor or at worst go under.
Watch this space and in 5~7 years time the world of credit will be a brave new world!
Thanks for that but I could do more than just scribble - I had just got my degree in mathematics so I could count too!
