After a period of financial problems in the mid-90's my credit file is now clear - or so I thought.
Just as my last CCJ drops off my file my bloody building society, who have never reported the account activity before, have just started to do so. All my credit cards (sub prime) are fully up to date and always have been but the two months arrears on my mortgage have now destroyed a perfect record !!
The only consolation is thet the building society are inly reporting to Equifax and my Experian file is clear.
I know a great many credit card lenders only query one of the agancies so as I want to find a 0% balance transfer card who only query Experian - can anyone post either a list of lenders and the agency they use or just the odd bit of info from your own files to give me some idea of who to avoid applying to until I sort out the Equifax file
