I live in the US, for years it seems some checks mailed to me were stolen, deposited to an account in my name, perhaps in Canada or the UK, but I have no proof. how can I find out if there is a bank account in my name in a Foreign Country? thank you for any help. JUANCO

A Google search for "Juan del Cerro" comes up with around 7,500 hits, so there's certainly a lot of other people around with your name. I'm sure most of them would also have bank accounts.
I think you need to take a different approach in tracing this. Try to contact the person/company who issued those cheques to you and see if they can obtain copies of the cheques from their banks. The details on the cheques should reveal information about the account that they were originally paid in to.
