Does anybody know if and on which place it is possible to clear a GBP cheque issued from a non UK bank.

I believe the cheque would be sent to their correspondent bank in the UK for processing through the UK clearing system.

Most banks will do this. They will probably charge for it, and it will take a few weeks.
