Hello Anyone heard of capital management based in brussels?

Hello

In days of offshore investment cons, I would like to check this company but I haven't been able to check them thoroughly as they are not regulated in UK.

their website also looks bit basic and the photographs are not clear etc

its just that they keep on chasing me for investment into this company
formatting link
also deadline seem to extend etc etc..

Nothing has been sent in the post all the contacts have been via phone and also one email.

Now I am passed onto the senior floor manager etc etc..

May be I am paranoid but I suppose its better to be safe.

Thanks

Yet they are apparently based in the UK ...

companieshouse.gov.uk is down at the moment, so I can't check there.

Err, don't you mean they've got a UK ISP for the site ?

their investment advisors are the Hong Kong branch of Capital Asset Management. I'm unsure which jurisdiction would regulate this - Hong Kong, or US, but they're the people to ask. Daytona

Why would you consider buying a share on the basis of a tip from someone who cold-calls you.

If the share is really any good you'd expect them to keep quite and buy it for themselves not waste lots of time and effort ringing people that they don't know and trying to presuade them to buy it,

Just doesn't make sense to me

Yes, and I bet that any E-mails actually come from somewhere like Thailand. I had a similar type of thing which involved Canada, Switzerland, Shanghai, a domain name registered in Madrid, a bank account in Hong Kong and an E-mail via a Thai ISP. There was also a genuine investment mentioned, but I would have serious doubts about their bona-fides.

Perhaps they've already bought it, and want others to create buying pressure to force the price up.
