Is there a debt ??

Hi,

1st Question

Having received a few Company Headed letters with statements like "Settled" "Debt does not exist" " written off" "Debt is cleared will not pursue or chase you now or in the future" replies are these contractual letters. Therefore these companies have made a statement that they can not resurrect or dispute their previous letters.

2nd Question I will post after receiving some answers.

I will try for you.

I have had letters from Compananies that in the past I had owed money to. On asking about this debt some 6 years later. I am informed that there is no debt. In words I have stated.

I have always been told that if on official paper an offer or statement is made it is a binding contract.
