I cant wait for my local election contenders to knock my door............they will get my tongue lashing cos they are all on the hooky, no matter how high or low in rank. They learn these things from the bottom up.

I feel sorry for that little bloke, the Taxpayer.
If I or any of my colleagues did this, both the public, and all the MP's would be howling for blood for breach of public trust. It would not be a case of repaying the amount and a public apology, it would be instant dismissal, loss of pension, crimianl prosecution and then have to repay the amount, including having to dispose of assets if necessary.
If that works for a civil servant, it should work for a MP.
