A friend running a small plumbing business with QB Pro 2008 (I think), recently began getting the message "Abandon Now" while doing invoices. Any ideas as where to look to solve this? Thanks! Jack R

Is that the exact message or is the program trying to urge your friend into upgrading to a newer version? Having the exact message would be helpful.
Support for 2008 ends at the end of May 2011. Services such as payroll, merchant services and e-mailing through QB. There might be more but I can't remember at the moment--if it interfaces with Intuit then it will stop working. It does not impact creating invoices. You can still print them but can't e-mail them through QB.
