I wouldn't beat about the bush sending out reminder after reminder. Just send them the first courtesy reminder 31 days after the invoice date . If they they don't pay within 7 days, issue a 'notice before legal proceedings' and state your going to charge interest under the Commercial Debts Act, and then if they still don't pay, just take it to legal action.

You should have thought about your credit control policy before you started doing business, that way your customers would know exactly what your terms of business were and might be more inclined to pay up. However, because you appear to have not had them in place, they are simply taking you for a ride. Now you're about to get nasty and that may annoy them to the point where you lose customers. However, you're more likely to go out of business spending all your time chasing for debts nobody is paying.
