Rant: Hype/spin/confusion marketing/customer abuse

Ok, half a billion dollars then.

I still don't see how it's worth that. What long term growth potential is there for a utility switching website It can't exactly increase sales by getting people to buy more of its product.

As per subject, the just want to sell you things, by whatever means they have at their disposal.

I'm sure there are many people buying car/etc insurance through the AA/RAC who are still under the impression that they are motoring associations rather than marketing brands...
