Customer database marketing

Hey all. I work at an infant furniture and clothing store, and we would like to be able to send out letters to customers from the database depending on what they have bought. For example, when we have a clothing sale, we would like to be able to create address labels for mailing to people who have previously bought clothing at our store. I have tried using the crystal reports-mailing labels feature, but I can't base the list on purchases.

I also would like to be able to create a report at the end of the day of everything that was sold during the day. It seems that there may be a way to do this in crystal reports-register analysis report, but I can't seem to get it to work.

Thanks, Chris

Go into RMS Manager - Select Utilities - Crystal Reports - Select the Customer Mailing Labels.def - on the Criteria tab - you can select Total Sales, or Last Visit - supply the criteria - and generate your mailing labels.

The current problem I'm having with that is there is no criteria that allows me to choose customers based on what they've purchased.

Thanks, that's what I need. As you can see, I'm new to this software.

You have to use a newsreader like Outlook Express to view and download attachments. Follow the instructions in Jeff's tagline to get setup. Craig
