Anti-Marketing Group

Beware of the above company who tries to take money from you for dealing with junk mail and phone calls.

On the phone the sales monkey said that the "Lifetime Service" will cover you for your life and for any changes of address or telephone number. The "Terms of Service" say that the Lifetime Service lasts until the earlier of when they withdraw the Lifetime Service or when the customer changes address or telephone number.

I asked when how long the company has been in business and the sales monkey said 12 years although the company wasn't formed until June

2007 and was dormant for over a year after that. This was explained away as a "misunderstanding" - ie. lie.

The sales monkey said that they would write to ALL companies that sent junk mail or made sales call to you but the "Terms of Service" limited this to 10 companies per year.

The "Terms of Service" refer to "PLT" as being the supplier but suddenly the "Terms of Service" referred to "LF" which would seem to make more sense if it was "PLT" but when I queried this they didn't know what to say. It would appear to be a scam from overseas.

I have contacted Trading Standards and they tried to get out of doing anything by saying they could only act if they had "done something wrong" - ie. got money from you. I pointed out that an attempt is sufficient. This excuse is usually tried by the buffoons in the Police.

After recently joing the scheme below i would like to point out how very delighted i am with the service that the Anti Marketing Group provide me.

Roughly 8 or 9 weeks after i joined i began to receive such calls again, so i simply rang the telephone number that advisor gave me, spoke to a manager who did what was required straight away.

I am very pleased to say i have now been junk call and mail free for a good six months and highly recommend this scheme!

I think it is very unfair that people take time to create these forums regarding businesses!
