Selling shares

I have 250 Bradford & Bingley shares I'm thinking of selling; can someone advise the best way to do this please (ie which way charges least, that sort of thing)? I have a certificate. TIA tim

When they send the annual report, many companies offer a cheap share dealing service. That's your best bet. Or your own bank will do it... this is the easy way but not the cheapest. I'll leave others to advise on on-line brokers etc which may be cheaper, but may take a bit of setting up accounts with. Putrid poetry, dismal doggerel, extrava-stanzas...

I think that Hoodless Brennan might be the cheapest on-line broker at the moment.
