stockmarket software

X-No-Archive: yes

What's the deal with MCI Technologies, a software company selling the 'Star Trader' trading analysis (?) software. Is it genuine? Is it any good? what does it cost? Are there other alternatives? Any feedback appreciated.. Regards PJ

I've had a bad experience and have gone legal with the company. I pai

4300+vat for the software. + 25 per month

Software is rubbish. I had a number of companies I was paper trading Not a single one showed a profit in a rising market.

I asked for help - customer services were no help and crass comment like keep going.

I complained about the software many times and eventually got an emai saying there were issues with the software and data. I askled for a refund and got an insulting (Copies available) from the saying it was not company policy to give refunds

Wrote to MD - got equally glib reply saying yes issues with softwar and would look to improve with next version.

This is a scam - Old saying if it looks to good to be true it probabl is. (watch out for their selling techniques -) They have been on BBC' watchdog programme

That's interesting Peter.

I had a letter from them this week and, I have to admit, I was almost taken in with their persuasive brochure. Thanks for your timely advice as far as I am concerned.

Same here!

Even got a sales call from a lady called 'Mary' who was very persuasive. Needless to say I will NOT be investing in this software!
