Do people think the opportunity is pretty much gone now? AFAICS nearly all the credit cards on offer with 0% rates now have a charge of 2 or 3% for balance xfers. I'm cashing mine in, cant be arsed with the hassle for the differential.

aye. For the amounts I deal with its not worth it anymore. Once this card has run out that'll be it unless theres another 0% and zero fee balance transfer deal started.
depends, my wife got 9k for 9 months on a total fee of 35 quid from mbna the other day, that was worth it, she bought premium bonds with it and won 50 quid first draw, so up 15 quid straight away (well 6 weeks, anyway).
there are several cards with a capped fee, they are the ones to get.
