Tax records of a dissolved company.

Please, anyone. How can I find out the PAYE reference for a company which was dissolved 6 years ago? Inland Revenue say they don't have this information to hand as they have mislaid it.

The former director doesn't have it as it was lost in a flood.

I think it would have been recorded on all the P60's they issued.
