Thanks for that, it didn't occur to me to do that. You'd think it would say in the small print?

Actually I cheated because I knew it was RBS I just wanted to find publicly available proof :-)

I'm sure it is buried somewhere in some very small print, but probably only on the print they send you after you sign up.

Why would they want to advertise that it is not their own card ?

P.S. Tesco only recently changed to use RBS for its banking, so I'm not sure if their older cards are still operated by the previous bank.
