Just tried to apply for a credit limit but was told they cannot increase credit limits due to a business decision. This got me really confused since I have several thousand in savings with them, never exceeded any of my credit limits and pay the CC in full each month. Turns out it's nothing to do with me personally. Could this be related to the Santander takeover, or something else?
