Which is likely to be wrong. As you have already said, you would put the name printed on your cheque book. That isnt the account name, so you would be giving the remitter the wrong info.
I'll second John Boyle's point. I work for a UK clearing bank, and i have to say that the beneficiary's name makes no difference at all.
I learnt this the momentary panic way when I accidentally input the wrong details for a fathers payment to his two (married) daughters, hence whilst there were 3 completely different names, and i got two of them the wrong way round the payments all arrived correctly.
Having said that i did get some what of a talking to with regards the Data Protection Act...but thats a different story.
