Location: Downtown Manhattan
Job Description: Major Bank is seeking a Global Accounting Product Manager in Downtown Manhattan. The Product Manager is responsible for working with management to modify and enhance existing global accounting capability and to identify and develop new accounting product capability. The Product Manager will also have responsibility for supporting the development and execution of the Global Investment Accounting Product Strategy.
The Product Manager will work with relevant business owners to identify and prioritize product initiatives in order to: . realize market opportunities . address competitive gaps . meet needs of existing clients . enter new markets
As necessary, the Product Manager will act as accounting subject matter expert on cross functional projects and will be required to project manage accounting specific product developments.
The product manager will also work with senior management and business owners in order to: o develop/implement pricing strategy o manage product line including P&L o define Service Level Descriptions o identify market trends (relating to segmentation, targets, competition, etc.) as input to setting product strategy o participate in relevant industry forums participate in marketing and promotion roll outs.

Business Skills: To qualify, you must have Product Management experience including all of above responsibilities, people management experience and/or knowledge of Global Accounting Services (Investment accounting, portfolio accounting, collective investment fund accouting). You must have potential to grow to take additional product responsibilities. 8 plus years of relevant experience required.
Education/Licenses/Certifications: BA required, MBA preferred.
