display invoice number as a barcode?

You should be able to do this by editing the invoice form to include a second Invoice Number field, then just configure that field to print using a barcode font . . . Naturally, you'll need to install a barcode font on your PC(s) first . . . :^)

Chad, It doesn't seem to be that easy. Although the form design window allows you to add the asterisks needed for a scanner to recognize the barcode characters, the printed form doesn't display them. In fact no characters added in the design window (specifically the data field edit box) are displayed on the printed form. I guess the real question is does anyone know how to edit the form file itself to add the asterisks to the invoice number field. Sam
